Missions

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

The role of missionary work is multifaceted, encompassing evangelism, discipleship, and service. The Apostle Paul is a prime example of this role, as he traveled far and wide to preach the Gospel, establish churches, and encourage believers. In Acts 13:47, Paul cites the prophetic mandate: "For this is what the Lord has commanded us: 'I have made you a light for the Gentiles, to bring salvation to the ends of the earth.'" This is the missionary's role; to be a bearer of light and truth to all peoples.

Active Missionaries

Midigo, Uganda

Aniku Family

The Aringa people are known to be one of the most unreached people groups in Uganda of the 10-40 window. They are a people group numbering about 700,000 with the majority (95%) being Muslim in the area of Midigo where we serve.

During the dictatorship of Idi Amin (1971-1979 regime) the people in the West Nile region became Muslim under his influence. Later in 1990’s the region was torn apart by rebel groups and regional armed conflicts...

God has called Pastor Vincent Aniku (a national) as Senior Pastor and his wife Melissa Aniku (a missionary from America) to serve Him in Midigo for His glory, growing daily in His love for His people!

McDaniel Family

Haiti

Cross to Light ministry established the Haiti Bible Training Center in Port au Prince, Haiti in March 2011.

The Haiti Bible Training Center’s core function is to bring in young men from different provinces of Haiti, disciple them through the Word of God, and take them through the bible over the course of two years.

It is then that these men are sent back out to plant churches, provide bible teaching, and discipleship in their own communities

San Antonio, Texas

Pickens Family

After serving in the United Kingdom for over 20 years as missionaries, the Pickens family returned to the United States in February 2017 as full-time missionaries to serve at-risk youth in San Antonio, Texas.

South Texas Youth at Risk, which is affiliated with Pacific Youth reachesout to the most hurting people in our society, sexually abused and sex trafficked girls ages 11-17, in a trauma treatment center.

These girls are ministered to with the love of Jesus, the gospel, and discipleship.
